Based on this season's W-L

Just heard on NFL live. Didnt even realize it. Saints only one that has beat a team with a winning record.

Smoke and mirrors?

Edit: how does denver get the easiest schedule based on last year as well? And a poverty team like carolina get the hardest?

I always hate the whole win loss thing because if you beat everyone you play you basically make your "W-L" have teams with worse records bc they have losses but if you go 0-16 the other teams "W-L" has 16 more wins. Kinda skews it, but with that being said there is always exceptions to the rule.

As for scheduling goes its simple. Carolina plays 6 division games (probably seems hard bc TB,Atl,and Saints are usually above average teams) 4 Games against AFC east 4 Games against NFC West (with SF and Sea both being good) 1 Game from NFC East 1 Game vs the NFC North, and since the Panthers Finished 2nd in division last year at 7-9 they play the 2nd place teams from last year in these game(Giants, Vikings)

Hope this helps OP

Depends highly on how good the other teams in their division are and what divisions their division get matched up against that year. Only two games of the regular season are determined by last year's standings.

its a conspiracy on how the scheduling is made!!!!(not srs)
honestly you can figure out who a team plays a few years down the line minus the part where you place in your division and the other teams. its all predetermined like the above mentioned

Said the Chiefs would have a winning record crew.

Said because of easy schedule crew.

Chiefs finally got a good qb. That was their only missing link imo

basing it on this years W-L, anytime you win a game your SOS gets easier

this. they're basically guaranteed to have a SOS that is .250 because of the fact that they won 4/16 possible games their opponents have played. if you assume the average opponent would put up a 50% w-l ratio then their SOS is effectively .125 lower than your average team

eh...foster needs to take some blame too. basing off of his stats, he has been underproducing this year...it may be his line, but idk just not doing good like he has in previous years, although he gets all his yards and tds from volume touches, he isnt even averaging 4ypc...

its 4 weeks in... 25% of the losses come from those games so i would wait a bit longer before worrying about strength of schedule.
