I think he has a strong shot at nomination. I think it would be a much closer fight than the landslide Romney suffered but I see a democrat win in 2016.

The only man that can win it for the GOP and for america

He has a decent chance of being the GOP candidate, and a 0% chance of winning the presidency.

The GOP will do everything they can to destroy a legitimately conservative nominee and pave the way for one of their approved RINO-types, e.g. Dole, McCain, Romney, etc. This cycle's anointed RINOs seem to be Christie and Rubio, both of whom will lose a general election to Hillary.

GOP perpetual election strategy:

Step 1 - nominate candidates despised by your base, while simultaneously deriding and insulting those who enjoy a reservoir of support and good will from said base
Step 2 - proceed to lose election
Step 3 - move ideologically further leftward
Step 4 - repeat

The GOP aren't called the 'stupid party' for nothing...

I think Rand has a good chance and may, in fact, be the best candidate they can put forward short of someone who is black, jewish, gay, unionized feminist teacher and a sexual pervert all at the same time.

Unfortunately whoever the GOP candidate is I don't foresee them winning without taking a big step towards the middle. There are way to many people living on government handouts that will continue to vote for said handouts. Far too many people are willing to give up their morals and values if it means they continue to get more and more handouts.
