Suppose you had the option to buy Sports packages where you just watched the game without the announcers, interviews, half time shows, etc.

Would you go for it? Would the games be more enjoyable (as if you were actually at the game)?

Would probably need the radio broadcasters at the least. But TBH I would rather hear Fran Drescher call a game than Beth Mowins or Pam Ward.

For sports I actually know about sure. But things I don't really follow no.

And eliminate the joy of bitching about them doing a horrible job? No thanks.

Could definitely do without the halftime shows but that's really only an issue for championship games.

I have to have an announcer of some sort. I generally turn down the TV sound and turn on the radio, if using an app on my phone I can generally sync the radio play-by-play with the TV.

i like having announcers but i do wish there was an option to turn off the score/time graphic like in the good old days

if the audio was nothing more than the on-field sounds and the live crowd noise i think it'd be fun at first but when the novelty wears off you'd want the announcers back.
