View Full Version : What would you have done? My daily macros today, not enough protein

So today I have eaten:

~3751 calories:
163 fat
421 carbs
134 protein

the fats got a little out of hand, due to a fast food dinner. My LBM is ca 165 pounds, and since the protein "recommendation" is 1g/lbs of lbm, should I eat 30g protein before calling it a day?

My TDEE is ~3050-3150

0.82g of protein per lb of bw put's you at around 150g of protein, 134g is fine, your not going to lose any gains, a surplus is more important then anything when trying to put on size.

Don't forget your body does not work on a 24/hr clock, If your that worried eat some more protein tomorrow, but there is protein still being broken down in your stomach as we speak, and it will be breaking down, releasing amino acid's into your blood for hour's on end, Don't worry so much.
