Hey everybody, I am currently 140 hovering around 15-18% body fat. I want to go on a bulk for a few months and then cut. I know that I might want to consider doing a cut first, but I have tendonitis on my right forearm and and want to strengthen it with mass gains. I train 3-4 days a week and I am eating 2500 calories.

What do you guys think about eating less carbs on rest days with more fats and eating more carbs and less fats on training days.

I was thinking:

Workout days
320g Carbs
160g Protein
65g Fat

Rest days
285g Carbs
160g Protein
80g Fat

What do you guys think? Or should I reduce fats even more on workout days and up the carbs even more and drop the carbs even more on rest days and eat even more fats on rest days?

what is your TDEE, how much of a surplus are you in?

My maintenance should be around 2200 calories. So roughly about 15% caloric surplus.

Any reason you're cycling macros

I'm actually doing intermittant fasting from 12-8 and leangains.com suggested to eat more carbs and less fats on workout days. However, they also said to have a lower caloric intake on off days, but I plan on keeping it the same everyday. I just don't know if I should eat the same amount of carbs and fats daily or cycle it like above.

A) which would you find easier?
B) do you rather eat lots of fatty foods some days or lots of carbs?

It's only a difference of 35g of carbs and 15g of fat, which isn't a huge deal, but I was wondering if cycling macros was a common technique people used.
