So I'm bulking again and will be increasing cals by 50-100 if I fail to gain about a pound every 2 weeks. When I feel it's time to cut, should I slowly decrease cals by 50-100 or initially drop them lower? Also, would the bulking increase be better in 100 cal increments or 50? I want to stay fairly lean. I like to look like I lift

You can increase by 50 per week if you want or 100. It depends on how slow you want to bulk.

Assuming you are staying within a 10-20% TDEE surplus/deficit then you'll probably be ok to just drop down to cutting calories, but you will be able to be more precise of you ease into it.

Ill go 50 a week just because I'm so anal about staying lean. So when cutting ill just drop by 100 or so weekly until I hit a deficit. Then slowly decrease from there as I stop losing weight. I'll be staying pretty lean so cutting shouldn't be that big a deal. I over think this stuff

One of the coaches on 3dmj said if your doing a quick cut jump right in while your hormones are high from the bulk. something about slowly easing towards your cutting calories your hormones are dropping the whole time. just something i heard.

The difference this would make is negligible.
