I have a question about cutting. Do the numbers for your daily calories, along with your macro requirements, does that start with your goal body weight? or the weight you started?

For example:

I bulk up to 170 and plan on cutting down to 160.

Do i need 1 gram per body weight for 170? or 1 gram for 160?

In other words, do IIFYM off my body weight when i start cutting or the goal weight after my cut? Do i lower my protein intake with each pound i lose?

1g/LBM. If your LBM goes up then you can increase your protein intake. Use the weight you are currently at and the activity you are currently at for maintenance. Then create your deficit.

Technically you're current weight, but You're OCDing here. 10g of protein is not going to make any kind of difference. Find a "minimum" protein goal and hit it, no need to be so precise.
