View Full Version : Hemavol Timing/Dosage

I have been taking hemavol with random pre workouts 20 minutes prior to lifting and i don't really get the pumps I used to when first adding it to my pre's. I am taking 1 1/4 scoops. Is there a better timing method instead of 20 minutes prior to lifting or should I up the dose?

I use 2 scoops and have tried with RAGE and C4 and the pumps are awesome!

How much water are you taking with it? How many hours since you last consumed calories?

it all comes down to how much water youre drinking with it, and how empty your stomach is, as aaronuconn pointed out.

good rule of thumb is 20oz of water per serving, and no food for at least 2 hours prior to your dosage.

edit: i'd also try dosing it at about 30-40 minutes out, 20 minutes is cutting it close.

I typically will either have a piece of fruit or half a piece of bread with some strawberry jelly right when I get home from work, will leave shortly after for the gym and I drink about 30 oz of water while working out

The little bit of food that I eat right before may be the cause. I am going later today and will do it with an empty stomach and will only be taking it by itself since I will be working out around 7 and don't want to take any stimmed pre's

You should drink about 20 oz prior to getting to the gym. Rule of thumb, don't eat anything at least 3 hours prior to working out, 4 hours and you will be completely golden.

take 20oz minimum WITH your Hemavol(what your drink in the gym wont effect anything), and take it on a fully empty stomach. You will experience the pumps you're looking for :)

Take it 30-40 min prior to training on a empty stomach.

How much?
Its very individual. I have heard people using just one Scoop and getting nice results such as
amazing pumps,endurance/strenght and recovery.

The dose is something you need to find out what works best for you

For me 1 scoop was ok, 2 scoops great but 3 scoops AMAZING. seriously I love it.
Some people would say "madness" and "to expencive" . I dont smoke,dont drink, i dont buy
much bull****. I would rather buy great supplement (dont care about the cost) instead of spending
money on crap

How much water?
At least 20 oz.

I found 20-24 oz of water and 35 minutes to be my sweet spot.

You don't need a pre-workout meal in general. Think of it like this, when you are working out, where do you want your blood to flow to? The muscles you are working. If you have food digesting in your stomach, what happens then is that blood is also being directed into the gut to help digest the food.

If you MUST have some carbs in your body for energy, just drink a little bit of fruit juice or any other type of simple and preferably liquid carbs. Those won't need much if any time to digest thus it won't affect the blood flow in your body.

would you eat 30 min prior to weightlifting? not me ;)
Take it on a empty stomach and feel those INSANE PUMPS.
i tried Muscle Feast Anabolic Ignite. it has Creatine Nitrate, Bcaa nitrate, Citrulline malate,L Citrulline,beta alanine.
one Serving was 3 scoops. I was up to 7 full peaked scoops, and to be honest pumps from Hemavol with 3 scoops dosage is MUCH better..(personal experience)

I've found that 30 minutes before with ~24oz water (this includes my preworkout Compete, sometimes my preworkout MI) is great. I'm always two hours out from a meal before lifting, too. If it's morning training, completely fasted.

Like Vaughn said, try taking it a little earlier. I've found that with most preworkouts, it's better to take it too early than too late.

3 weeks without hemavol, I used it today 30 min. before training.
Usualy i do use 3 scoops,but since its been 3 weeks without it i took 2.
Seriously, This product is INSANE!!! Love the pumps,endurance,recovery,taste..EVERYTHING.

Chest and tri's this evening. Took hemavol as recommended here... Tri's felt like cinder blocks afterward. Sadly my chest didn't reap the benefits because I tweaked something in my trap/shoulder on my second set so my chest routine suffered after

When i logged some Hemavol i found that my sweet spot is 30mins pre workout with 25oz of water and a small dash of salt down the hatch with it haha get dem HUGE pumps!

I never take anything on empty stomach.

I use 1.5 hemavol and just recently stacked 1mr with it. Been stacking beta alanine with it all along.

Took me about 3 weeks to really start feeling a difference. Now I get huge pumps and stay pumped for hours after.

Sometimes my stomach is emptier than others. I'll either have a half cup of oats or nogii rocky road bar... I have sample sizes of them.

Takes me like 15 mins to warmup/foam roll. I drink about 10oz water with hemavol, 6ish with 1mr.havent noticed a difference in hemavol with more or less water.

Works good for me
