For some reason every time I an able to get a while protein shake down, I end up throwing it all back up or feeling like sh*t for the next few hours. Does any one have any suggestions to still get the proper amount of protein I need on a daily basis? I use to take protein all the time. This problem is fairly new and has happened with some different proteins I've tried (elite gourmet, syntha-6, combat, just to name a few). Thanks for the help!

Just use whole foods high in protein, meats, eggs, milk, greek yogurt etc. All are high in protein and will help you meet your macros. It is definitely possible to meet your macros without the protein powder.

In terms of my favourite whole foods protein source, that is egg whites. Pretty much pure protein right there, 1/4 cup egg whites is 25-30 calories and 6 grams of protein.

Who knows, high lactose intolerance perhaps.. eat more instead of having a shake, they're not required.

Replace it with lean meats.

Do you typically drink milk on a regular basis?

Try a different protein source, whole foods ideally, but if you want a shake, you could try NO Whey: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ai-sports-nutrition/no-whey.html.

Do you know if or where I could get my hands on a sample or two of NO WHEY?
