Hello,
I'm new on this forum.. this is my first post.
Reason i'm posting is that i think i've made a big mistake. For the past 2 months i've been eating a lot of carbos, up to 300g/day. Most of them were only from white/brown rice and pasta. So basically for the past 2 months i've been eating ~1kg of rice/pasta per day. I don't know much about nutrition as you might have guessed already :( never though this can lead to diabetes.
Now i feel my mouth dry most of the time.. also thirsty no matter how much water i drink. I haven't done the blood test but the symptoms are clear enough.
I'm really scared.. i don't know how this will affect my life from now on and how will i be able to gain muscle with a diabetes diet.

First I wouldn't self-diagnose. Worrying that you may have diabetes because of dry mouth is asinine. Go to the doctor and get tested if you are worried.

The main causes of diabetes are genetics, obesity, and sedentary lifestyle. Not direct carbohydrate consumption.

I have just about every symptom of diabetes but numerous tests have come out negative.

blood tests were normal - glycemia 84 and glycated hemoglobin 5. I'm really relieved. However the doctor said it might be appendicitis :)) I've had some fever and nausea lately. At least it's not a disease to have for the rest of my life :)
