Hey guys I've been cutting for 5 weeks now from 197 lbs to 191 and my strength hasn't dropped at all. Instead my lifts went UP.
I was really struggling to hit my macros for 4.5 weeks and just changed it. Before it was 250,250,70(was always hungry ). Now it's 275c,225p,70(feeling good and happy). My maintenance macros is 350,225,70. So I was wondering if exchanging protein for carbs is a good idea.

It will defiantly help with the hunger side but fat loss is debatable

Won't significantly help. It's just calories expended after all and personal preference. You're still hitting the same level of intake.

In theory, it could help a little bit in that it will raise the TEF. However, the increase would be pretty small, so it's not going to help all that much.

More practically, protein tends to be more satiating. So it could help control hunger if that's a problem for you.
