Hey, I was wondering if there are any other (American) football players on here, and if so, what are you eating on game day and the day before?

I tend to find the idea of whale-loading on spaghetti a bit unnecessary, but I also find myself running out of gas if practice runs long or a game goes late. If someone could recommend some better foods to take in before games, that would be great.

A bit of a background:
-Lost 90lbs last year
-Have been at a 255~lbs plateau for about 6 months
-Still trying to cut. The weight loss helped me move from D tackle to D end
-Still doing olympic lifts and roughly an hour of cardio per day.
-Goal weight is 230-240 at 10%
-Currently around 16%

Also, my first post here on bodybuilding forums so I apologize if I'm not following rules.

I guess I'm just looking for a little more finite numbers so I don't overload on carbs.
