10 years have gone by...

8-7 postseason record.
2 one and dones.
Losses to Jake Plummer, Mark Sanchez, Joe Flacco x2, Eli x2
0-2 in Super Bowls.
Continually choking in the playoffs, despite having a first round bye 4 times.
ZERO Super Bowl victories.
ZERO Super Bowl wins since they were found cheating.

Sorry your defense can't carry you anymore bro, gotta stop with your poverty checkdown passes like it's 2004.

ITT: People who've never seen Montana play outside of "the catch" highlight, say he's better than everyone...

Dolphins fan checking in. **** Tom Brady... but Tom Brady is as clutch as it gets. He didn't do it tonight (minus the 3rd best player in the NFL who's not a QB). It happens, even to Tom Brady. This attitude that a QB can win the SB every year is beyond idiotic. It's not how the NFL works outside of Madden. The days of the Dynasty are long gone with the NFL rule changes to defense. Pats still maintain the closest thing to it.

Same thing happened to Elway you fuarking phaggot. Elway lost his first 3(1986, 1987, 1989, )but won the next two almost 10 years later as well(98, 99). So please don't make it seem like Brady is done or not the GOAT. Perfect season, insane stats every year, and 3 super bowls under his belt already. Only difference is Brady won his first 3 compared to Elway.

Anyone who thinks Brady peaked higher than Peyton is a phaggot. Not only that there was a HUGE difference in their support and Peyton is flat out better than Brady throughout their careers or if u compare their 3 best seasons.

Peyton is arguable for GOAT QB. Brady is still an alltime great top 5 IMO.

But you could see and he KNOWS his speed... he wouldnt even have gotten close. Why not THROW the ball and try to hit someone... because i mean that IS what hes known for...THROWING the ball..... he was 3 yards short and gonna get leveled... instead of falling short he tried to toss the ball and missed. You ever see Eli Manning scramble? LMAO... its just how some of them qbs roll bro

Brady is great and all but everyone talks about him being great in the post season, when really his success (postseason championships)happened early in his career when he wasn't really in his prime yet.

In his prime he has put up some crazy numbers, made it far, but he has never won a championship. He is a much better qb in his prime and these past couple of years than in the years he actually won the Super Bowl so I find it weird that he hasn't won one again. IMO he is in his prime from 2007 til now.

He actually did with age. Brady has a crazy winning percentage and spygate wasn't that damn big of a deal. They were a good team regardless. Thought he also broke the single season TD record and QBed the longest winning streak in history. Super Bowls are a measurement of a QBs success, but it is not the only. Brady has a very well decorated career despite obstacles and will still be considered as one of the GOATs. Top 5 at least. Best of his era, unquestioned from individual production to team wins.

People find any reason to hate or nitpick. Annoying ass critics.

Im not OP, but im pretty sure they recorded Superbowl walkthroughs or the rams, panthers and eagles. "Supposedly" had tapes of recorded of signals on multiple teams. Recorded defensive signals in the first half of games, matched that up with the defense they saw, used that to their advantage in the second half of games.

Blah blah, whatever. Point is....the league favored the pats, plus spygate and they had a respectable defense...and won superbowls by a FG.

tom brady can't carry a team to a superbowl, no qb can. Although this year the pats were massively overrated, losing to the cards at home... I can't find one impressive win on their schedule outside of houston. lost to the niners, ravens, cards, and hawks. Teams with good/elite defenses. They need to stop drafting offensive players early and stick to drafting on defense because that is the only way they will win a championship

Yea... they never taped walkthroughs. How could they have possibly used any info from taping in the same game? They'd have to analyze the D, which is hard to see from 1 sideline cam, and match each D to signals which were being given by 2+ people on the opposing team. So they'd have to figure out who was giving the correct signal for each play. They'd have to write down what each assumed signal meant and the play it correlated to, an offensive play to beat it, and then during the 2nd half they would have to figure out the correct signal and relay in the new offensive play, all in the 15? seconds before the offensive mics get turned off. Oh, and they only have the 15 min halftime to do this.

Yup, seems logical

krogtaar

Brady spent too many years with a top O line, checking down to receivers. He is the best at doing that, but is not good throwing down field under pressure. Recipe for holding pats to 17 or under is get pressure and cover checkdowns.

see
-yards in the air per attempt, Brady is always middle of the league.
-playoff exit every one of the past 5 years.

Joe Flacco has the most wins in the nfl since 2008 @62. Including playoffs.

Most road wins in nfl history

Postseason win in every single season of his career

3 afccg appearences and now a SB

Clearly the best QB in the playoffs this year

1 of only 6 ever to have atleast 8 tds and no ints in a postseason. Btw all other 5 all went on to win the superbowl and superbowl mvp

Niners took Aldon Smith 7th overall and were CRUCIFIED for it...

Looking pretty genius now.

LOL.

aldon smith is a bust. put von miller on that team and watch him get 30 sacks.

brb playoffs and december
brb 0 sacks for like the last 7 games

0 sacks a game. PRETTY GENIUS

I'm sorry, what?

2008: first 3 picks defense
2009: first 3 picks defense
2010: 3 of first 4 picks defense (gronk)
2011: only draft that was offense dominated
2012: 6 of 7 picks were defense

edit: I meant I don't think any team has drafted more defensive players first.

Bump, there goes his #1 WR and safety net that helped him become the "Checkdown King". Tom's gonna retire with no more rings, it's been 9 years since the last one.

LOL @ saying a QB lost to the other team's QB. How about pointing out the defenses that he, you know, actually competed against.

This is like saying teams lost to Doug Flutie in '99 since the Bills went 11-5 when Flutie was one of the worst starters in the league that year... they just happened to have the top defense in football...
