He better get fined cause of that new rule, flopping is getting way out of hand, it's like the nba is planning on joining the oscars. Btw did the dude get called for a foul?

the sad fact is that he won't even be disciplined for this more than likely, proving the new flopping rules are a joke

prove me wrong, Stern

Maybe he saw the elbow coming at his face so he backed up? Just a thought. Not like he fell to the ground or grabbed his face like he had been hit.

Was he supposed to just stand there and take a bow to the face?

What a fukin joke. And this loser is starting on the all-star team? Can't wait to see the Clips lose in the second round.

I would like to know whether a foul was called or not though.

edit - Nene was indeed called for a foul. How do people actually like and respect Blake Griffin the basketball player?

Who the hell flinches their head 5 feet back?

Stop acting like you're always so smart and everyone but you is wrong. That's a flop and you're a phaggot.

I guess everyone else here is a stone cold killer who thinks 6 9 250 lb dudes elbows are soft like pillows. Blake Griffin isn't half the man you are GPx.

This. Blake is a floppin' phag, but looks like he was just gettin' outta the way.

So many pathetic dudes in here acting like they constantly stare down elbows to the face without movement.

Yank11
01-20-2013, 12:23 AM
after actually seeing a full replay and not just the gif, it wasn't a flop, just a reflex. Kind of had a pre-judged opinion since it was Griffin.

The key point:
If Blake went down grabbing his face = flop
He didn't, although he did seem to maybe embellish the reflex a bit, if that makes sense

People would usually only move their head if they were flinching, well primarily at least. Not normal to sway your whole back to that extent.

Well when you move your head back more than 1 inch, your upper body usually tends to follow.

I can confirm, I'm a physicist and a doctor and a certified genius.

01-20-2013, 07:11 AM
who cares that Nene is raising his elbows right into his face area right?

the fact that he moved his head back to avoid getting his face elbowed means he's a flopper.

u haters are annoying.
lol, wonder what you phaggots would do if Nene's elbow was coming at you.

new flopping rules are a joke, they won't call out any of their annointed "stars" like this phaggot because he represents the league brand itself

what do you want him to do? remove some inches from his vertical?

whether youre a clipper fan or not, You gotta love blake. what other big man is dunking like him? he's our generations shawn kemp.
Only problem with blake is lack of shooting and strong floppage

This is the reason I hate Blake Griffin..

I was a huge fan of his when he came into the league, as soon as CP3 came to town however, all the guy does is flop. I'm surprised he hasn't attempted the patented heliflopter, Chris Paul's go to move.

FLOP CITY!

kronzino
01-20-2013, 09:15 AM
I hate Blake as much as anyone here. With that said, if anyone really thinks this is a flop just based on a slowed down gif, they are fukking retarded and should never be taken seriously on sports misc.

B0B4Life
01-20-2013, 09:24 AM
I think its hilarious that people who don't watch Blake say "all he can do is dunk, he has zero basketball skill". Blake is along with Noah the best ball handling big man in the NBA and is an excellent passer

Dude gets no attention in real life so he spends his life in the sports misc questioning everything and everyone. Lol

INb4 he breaks his leg flopping/

VDubb
01-20-2013, 10:20 AM
If he stopped playing after it happened, he likely expected a call. Flop.

If he jumped back to guarding him, or ran down back to play D....I'd give him a little slack....

Looks like he flinches, then jerks back....Oscar worthy.

ChrisPaulfor40
01-20-2013, 08:40 PM
if he flopped on a fake elbow to the face....doesnt it make sense that he'd hold his jaw or something afterwards to signal being hit?

amikaelmorris
01-20-2013, 08:44 PM
nene and blake were going at it allllllll night in that game

i don't remember him grabbing at his face or acting for a call or anything, he just looked at the ground and the ref when he blew the whistle, that's just a convenient cut in the gif to make it look like an overreaction

every single person here is gonna flinch if they see an elbow coming at their face

thecreed
01-20-2013, 09:04 PM
The initial turn to the left that he does, THAT is a reflex. He moves his head away instinctively to avoid the elbow. But then he jerks his head straight back after realizing that there wasn't contact. Look at it again slowly. Just because I would also be scared of an elbow from a 7' tall NBA player doesn't mean this isn't a flop.

CSI: misc up in here

anyone besides blake griffin sells that call and it's a non story and he's congratulated for helping his team out
