View Full Version : Is John Wall an MVP candidate?

He has got to be, right?

Wizards win pct w/o Wall: .152
Wizards win pct w/ Wall: .750

Wizards average PPG w/o Wall: 86.6
Wizards average PPG w/ Wall: 104.75

Wizards average FG% w/o Wall: 40%
Wizards average FG% w/ Wall: 50%

The difference in play of the entire team when he is on the court is remarkable. He fits the very definition of MVP. No other team benefits so much from just one player.

Check out Wall with the game winning block last night in Denver:

Oh yeah, he also finished with 14 points and 12 assists in only 26 minutes of play (still being limited).

The Wizards are completely revitalized with him on the court and arguably the best team in basketball right now. The winner of tonight's Wizards @ Clippers game will be on top of my NBA Power Rankings, that is for sure.

Dat record...

Media was hyping the chit out of the Laker's and expecting them to be leading the West with OKC with the addition of Nash and Howard. That's why Kobe isn't in the convo.

take out kobe and lakers would have the same record or better. take out cp3, durant, or lebron and they'd be a .500 team
