No Aldon Smith?

I feel like he can and has been worn down by physical running teams. You could have the same criticism of JPP from this season, but he showed in 2011 that he could stand up to physical running teams.

Oh god the whole thread is messed up now.

Its not which group of 10 guys I would pick to start a team

Its the top 10 single players I would start a franchise with. I thought that was clear, both Wilson and Newton were in my list.

I'd go with QBs first. As a Dolphins fan, I can't help but see the difference paths the Falcons and Dolphins have had since the 2008 draft when they Dolphins passed on Matt Ryan for Jake Long. Yes, Long has been an elite player on the o-line, but what has it gotten the Dolphins? Meanwhile, the Dolphins have still been searching for a QB and the Falcons have made the playoffs the last three years.

With the current state of the NFL, I feel QB is clearly the most important position on the team.

This, panthers fan here. Even though we still aren't doing that great, you can see the potential of the team go up from drafting Cam and watching him play.

He's been fighting a shoulder injury for the last 5 or 6 games.

Yeah man... and who was the last team with a s**ty qb to win a Superbowl? I'm probably missing 1-2, but I can think back to Dilfer.

OK.. I just looked it up. It was Garcia. Since then it has been Brady (2x), Eli (2x), Rothleisberger (2x), and then Payton, Brees, and Rodgers 1x.

Dolphins dun phucked up big time by taking Jake Long over Matt Ryan.

You serious? CB is one of the most important positions in football.

If you're putting together a team you'll want star players at QB, LT, CB and DE.

Corners are easy to manipulate with motions and matchups.

I would much rather have star players at
QB
someone for him to throw to could be WR, TE or RB
an every down LB(Navorro Bowman)
every down DL/LB who can rush the passer

These player can impact every single snap, corners and tackles can't.
