You fukin phagot laker fans, how you gonna defend this crap, lakers had nash, gasol, howard, bryant and lebron ****ted all over them, plus Heat are so small and kobe still sucked, kobe's season numbers are deceiving because he does it against bad teams but when he plays against elite teams like Heat and Thunder he disappears. Never compare Kobe to Lebron because they arent even on the same level talent wise, and its not even close.

Kobe was never even close to Lebron. That's not even worth arguing.

That Miami defense was a thing of beauty in that game. There is no doubt he anchors that unit defensively. I don't think any team without LBJ's quickness, length, and basketball IQ could play defense at that level, especially with as little height as they have.

Why would he take a lower % shot if he could just go dunk or lay it in?

Face it, Kobe's BEST season, is only Lebron's 7th best, and Lebron has only just reached his prime in the last year or so.

kobe and lebron started playing pro ball at the same age, so comparing season by season is pretty fair, wouldn't you say?

all they wanna talk about is kobe's scoring, right?

well since lebron's only played 9 full seasons... 30 pt games through the first full 9 seasons of their careers:

kobe - 151
lebron - 282

kobe obviously scored a lot better after his 9th full season, indicating an improvement during his "prime" years, but lebron is already peaked and will naturally start declining immediately, amirite? lol fckn retards

Because the point is Lebron's style is dependent on the refs.

I always tell this story, I still remember it pretty clearly:

Lebron was on the Cavs playing the Pistons to go to the finals.

Lebron under the bucket for the win goes for a ***gy layup, gets ticky tack hand slapped by little Rip Hamilton.

Misses a ****ing layup and looks at the refs crying like a little bitch.

Showed me what I needed to know.

I take less % in this instance cause I know Kobe can drain a bucket if he isn't getting the whistle.

Lebron on the other hand is the most babied player in the history of the NBA, who falls apart when the refs aren't bailing him out.

Brb this is baseball and all we do is jerk off to statistics.

Kobe's game revolves entirely around scoring. He's an above average defender and an average passer.
Lebron is still an elite scorer (and does with MUCH greater efficiency than Kobe), an elite passer, the best rebounding small forward in the game, and an elite defender.

Lebron makes his teams and his teammates better. Kobe doesn't improve the play of his teammates, and is a chemistry nightmare and has created problems with every single different nucleus the Lakers have created throughout his career.
Lebron was a consistent winner on Cleveland teams with nothing but scrubs and a scrub coach. Kobe's teams without Shaq and before Pau were mediocre, even with a Top 5 all time coach.

And if you really need to jerk it to statistics, forget regular season stats. NBA legacies are all about the post season

Career Playoff Stats

Lebron- 28.5 pgg (47%)
Kobe- 25.6 (45%)

Lebron- 8.7 rpg
Kobe- 5.1 rpg

Lebron- 6.7 apg
Kobe- 4.7 apg

Lebron- 1.7 spg
Kobe- 1.4 spg

Lebron- 1 bpg
Kobe- .6

THIS. It's amazing that before last night, all of these Chuck Bryant fans were making TONS of comparisons between Kobe and Lebron. Now that after Lebron completely makes Kobe his bitch, which he does nearly EVERY single time they play(BRB 12-6 against Chuck all time while averaging more ppg, apg, rpg, and spg) it's, "lol@comparing a player in his prime to another player past his".

It's even more hilarious because Kobe's best season is still worse than Lebron's best season, so his fans still look silly trying to use the prime vs prime argument.
