Lettuce be reality, is it really about protecting the children or government control?

A lot of liberals will not define the fetus as life, so they are not being logically inconsistent by holding these positions.

No but it is intellectually dishonest after a certain time period in the womb.

Don't forget the trillion dollars that is being stolen from the next generation every year. Less money = lower standard of living = higher death rate. Granted, liberals aren't completely to blame, but they are mostly to blame and Obama just recently claimed there is no spending problem in Washington D.C.

Thankfully we can always count on a lot of liberals to always resort to mental gymnastics in an effort to appeal logical.

protecting children OP. http://www.pediatricsdigest.mobi/content/130/5/e1416.full

According to your link in 2009, 48 children between the ages of 1-14 died due to unintentional firearm-related injuries.

An average of 153 children between the ages of 1-14 die each year due to unintentional drowning.

It seems like we need to deal with water safety before we worry about gun safety for our children.

^No comment on the nonfatal injuries, homocide, or suicide sections? Or the three-fold increase in the risk of homocide and the fivefold increase in the risk of suicide if a gun is in the home (i.e., as an independent risk factor)?

And why do you frame such a matter of public health as an either-or dichotomy? lol @ the absurdity if the profession of medicine and disease prevention actually functioned that way (e.g., either we have a functional sanitation system or we wear seatbelts! CAN'T DO BOTH)

We should rather just have the government come in and confiscate all children

The comparison is hardly valid, how many young children and toddlers are allowed easy access to firearms.

How many are allowed to play near water.

well if the gov't wasn't tryin so hard to erode the 2nd amendment, then those unborn fetuses would be able to buy guns and protect themselves from those commie abortion doctors. ****in libs....

Orrrrr we could work on both at once, and stop comparing something designed to cause death to water.

Wouldn't be a bad idea if some people had their kids confiscated reading the SH CT thread.

Lol,I love it how everybody had a right to freedom when it comes to protecting their guns but not so much when it comes to their right to choose.

Orrrrr we could work on both at once, and stop comparing something designed to cause death to water.

Orrrr we could stop pretending like gunns are some scourge on american society that kill people left and riight while conveniently ignoring issues that kill far more people yet are widely accepted.

btw how would you suggest working on the child water deaths? Srs question.

Guns aren't the problem , people are . Go ahead and ban guns thinking it will cut down on crime when in reality guns will still be used by criminals .
