Hopefully they trade him to a contender and hopefully he gets a ring before the end of his career. They'd maybe get a 2nd rounder for him. If Jerry Jones has any dignity left and any respect to his players he'll do it.

Yea because Simeon Rice didn't have 67.5 sacks from 2001-2005.

Simeon Rice was a DE, Ware is an OLB. If he gets moved to DE he will have someone right overtop of him every play instead of getting running starts off the line. Ware would be a pretty small DE @6'4 255lbs

Yeah too bad Ware never played DE his entire life. Now that he has to lineup in literally the exact same spot he has his entire time in Dallas but put his hand down instead of being in a two point stance he will be so slow and mediocre off the ball. Its science.

You're right, 4-3 and 3-4 are the exact same thing. No difference at all

You're right.. no difference between lining directly.on a tackle or tight end and.lining up on the outside or behind the defensive end.

This.

Thread is full of idiots who obviously don't realize that Ware played a TON of snaps as a DE. Just because Dallas was a 3-4 team doesn't mean they stayed in the 3-4 the entire game. Brb nickel & dime packages. Ware had his hands on the ground a ton.

The transition will be a seamless.

Goodnight sweet Brandon Weeden, Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, and every other QB facing the Steelers.....tears would be shed for my Brownies if that ever happened

Woodley would only play special teams if he were in Dallas.

Retarded thread. Ware would be fine as a DE in 4-3. And Ratliff will be a beast. Sapp 2.0. I think its a smart move.

It makes a lot of sense actually. Ware is going to make an excellent RDE. I don't even know why that's a discussion. They'll actually have the ability to move Ratliff to more of a 3-tech spot where he's better suited and will be able to showcase his abilities better. Sean Lee will be a great MLB, and Bruce Carter is athletic enough to play the WLB spot. I like the move.

Yep. Because 4-3 defense ends have always lined up head to head nose to nose with the offensive tackle and not in a 7 or 9 tech like a 3-4 LB. Wade Phillips and Rob Ryan were super notorious for having their best pass rushers line up 5 yards off the ball and not on the LOS outside the farthest blocker

You're right, 4-3 and 3-4 are the exact same thing. No difference at all

Yep it totally killed the careers of Jason Babin, Cameron Wake, John Abraham, and Elvis Dumervill. Hope he doesn't have the career downturn these undersized bums had

Demarcus Ware is way bigger than Dwight Freeny and Robert Mathis

All of these players started in the NFL at DE moran. Ware was drafted as a LB. Also, all these players weigh more than Ware, even Dumervil @5'11 is 265

Lol strong history. Babin was drafted to play at OLB with Houston. Abraham was a LB out of South Carolina and played LB/DE role with the Jets. Cameron Wake an OLB for Miami. Dumervill may be the only one who didnt start as a OLB but he's made the transition between the two easily.

But your right that 10 pounds makes all the difference in the world. There is no way with some of the best trainers, nutrition staff, and coaches that if they wanted to ask Ware to gain 10 pounds this offseason he could do it. I mean that would be completely impossible because Ware has been such a diva his whole career.
