Fruit is so high in carbs its unreal and i no high carbs is bad for losing weight.

I workout tues thursday saurday sunday for 1.5hours each session and i also do abs monday-friday

i love fruit and i rite fancy a bowl of fruit now but i know that if i have a banana + some strawberrys + some chopped apple even though its only 300-400 cals its like 100+ gram of carbs alone

i never said carbs were bad but i did say high carbs as i know this from experience, i was running 1600 cals with 280-300g carbs and i was only gaining weight

Than you were eating too many calories, not too many carbs.

Carbs aren't bad, overeating is bad. Too much of almost anything will make you fat. Fruit is loaded with micronutrients, but can be high in calories. Try some diet soda if you have a sweet tooth.

the fruit i eat is very low in cals, a large banana only has 100 cals and a good amount of strawbs are ruffly same and i dont have a sweet tooth i just eat the fruits as a fiber source but im not sure its worth taking all that carbs in just for the extra 12-15g of fiber

if you are so worried about fruits and you just eat them for fiber, eat more veggies instead of fruits

your macros are off right from the get go if you are eating 280-300g of carbs and only eating 1600 cal. I also cant believe at 270# you are gaining weight at 1600 cal

OP these guys are correct...calories and correct macronutrients while being in a caloric deficit ultimately determine fats loss...some people though if at a higher bodyfat level while eating a high number of carbs may not see the weight loss happening as someone leaner would because of water retention that can give the APPEARENCE of gaining bodyfat and can also add weight to the scale at first when upping carbs.

Don't forget every carb/protein is 4 calories while fat is 9 calories. If you were eating 1600 calories and 300g of carbs, then 1200 of your calories were from carbs alone, while the remaining 400 calories covered your fat/protein? This sounds completely unrealistic and you were probably eating over 1600 calories by a large margin if you were still gaining weight. You can eat as many carbs as you want and you will still lose weight as long as you maintain a caloric deficit.

exactly and i never miss a workout but struggle to lose weight nowbecause your eating like 12 year old girl.....fuk man my gf is 5`3..120lbs and eats more then you that seem right to you?.... your nearly a foot taller and 158lbs heavier use some common sense
