I bought a "fresh atlantic salmon fillet" from walmart which is 366g. I couldn't find the exact product on myfitnesspal (and there is no nutritonal info on it), but I found something similar which shows me that it has around 700 calories. That can't be right for only 366g, can it? Is there any way I can get more exact macros for this specific line...I believe its great value made just for walmart as the package is walmart branded. Doesn't say GV, but as far as I know they're the ones who do that for them.

Thanks

There's substantial variance from individual fish to individual fish.

The average content is 710 calories, but it will often range between 666 calories and 754 calories.

Protein will on average be 87 grams, but it will often range between 81 and 93 grams.

Fat will on average be 37 grams, but it will often range between 30 and 45 grams.

I think I know which ones your talking about, But I may be wrong since the ones I bought from there were only 4oz serving size rather then what seems like about 12oz for 366g. But that being said, the 4oz ones I bought ran at 100 cals for the 4oz and 21g of protein so a 366g serving should be around 300 cals and 63g of protein roughly. But you might have also bought a different kind then me so I'd be sure to check around a bit, as 700 cals for 366g seems rather high.

This was the most accurate one I found based on what I bought

No it doesn't.
I may be wrong if that is the case I'm sorry just going off personal experience from Wal-mart these were the ones I purchased and a 16oz pack ran at 400 calories total, although not Fresh Atlantic Salmon I believe the one he is talking about is rather similiar and Myfitnesspal rings it up about the same calorie wise.

^^^ The nutrition labeling is probably per serving, not for the total content of the package.

It's not that one, mine has no nutrition info and no branding...it does say packaged for walmart canada with the walmart barcode / weight and price though. Should I just track it at the higher end in my case? The only issue is if its wrong, my macros are all really off.

100 calories per 4oz? Can't be. Fat is above 1:2 compared to the protein
