Doesn't the Bible say God made man in his image ?

According to Christianity, isn't it true nobody ever sees God ?

As for Muslims I'm pretty sure nobody ever sees God Allah because its too bright on the eyes. So why do Muslims call God "he" as if God is some all knowing and controlling being ? Yet the Qur'an speaks nothing about God in heaven and only gardens, virgins, slaves, silk, water, shade etc etc.
