i was going to do one of the programs on here upon entering my weight it states i should eat 2210 cals a day......... to me that seem a bit high for weightloss i have alway thought and read that you should eat between 1200 and 1500 cal and exercise to loss weight is jamies program on here for weight loss is that right 2210 cals a day

Calories needed for weight loss are subjective. Depending on your age, height, weight, activity factors and genetic metabolic differences. There is no "one size fits all" formulae or magic number.

Most calculators just give you a ballpark number with which to work with, you then need to start experimenting to further narrow down the suitable energy intake depending on your goals, timeframe and so forth.

i want to lose not maintain thats why i through it was too high so i need to eat less the 2210
