Where do you guys think he'd be projected to go? It's not like he's raping women or charged with assault. Lay off the weed and you got a pretty damn good player.

would be shocked if he's drafted at all. 5'9 corner with known struggles at covering man to man...who hasn't even played ball in a year

Would love the niners to grab him with one of their many picks. Good coaching in place and good locker room full of guys who have gotten their sh*t together and filled with a lot of hard workers. Great atmosphere to get a kid to turn his life around and play ball.

Would hnnnnng at Cully and the Badger playing behind those linebackers.

Ehh size is somewhat of a concern, Brandon Flowers is 5'9 and can hold his own pretty well. But I think KC needs to get a bigger corner to pair with flowers.

like plax getting shot and missing 2 years? what about peyton manning having neck surgery, or what about AP at OU?

athleticism + skill > playing time

people make too much of a big deal about missing time from football, it actually benefits you, it might have actually added 2-4 years on manning's career

yea size isn't too big of a concern when you're athletic. look at tim jennings, playing at a probowl level this year and he's only 5'8''. that being said, tyrann is as athletic as they come so i'm sure he's gonna get a shot in the nfl, but im willing to bet he'll be out of the league within 3 years

He'd have to go somewhere where he would get support from teammates. Or else he's a train wreck waiting to happen because obviously he doesn't learn from his mistakes. It's a shame too, he has so much potential.

Yeah, not like Plax and Peyton showed they can play in the NFL. LMAO it benefits you - are you inbred?

A team like the bucs will pick him up

or maybe will stay in LA with the saints. They need all the help they can get on defense

I say this is a classic example of "let's see what he does at the combine" because I think that's what it will come down too.

was it Laron Landry who was saying he's like his little brother?? maybe he needs to take him under his wing.

This.

If he runs a 4.3 or 4.4 he pretty much secures himself a spot in the middle rounds like 4 or 5.

he doesn't cover that well but he has sick playmaking ability and instincts + a pretty good special teamer.

that alone makes him valuable to some team.

Al Davis is no longer in charge, he will not be drafted by the Raiders, unless it's late.

Yep.

He has former LSU guys who try to take him under their wing, but he really needed someone to get him away from his friends/family and put him in a new situation where his focus would be on football. Thats what it boils down to.

I saw that he's living with Patrick Peterson's family in Florida & thats a step in the right direction.

Its not that he's a poor cover corner, its just that at his size he just isn't going to be successful at the next level in press coverage with bigger receivers. That just means he needs to go to a team that uses a lot of zone coverages and when they slip into man coverage he can be moved around as an extra blitzer a la Polamalu.

I love me some Honey Badger. Wanted him at UT before he even became the "Honey Badger".

Just hate that his demons are so strong that its hurting his potential.

Way easier said than done. Wouldnt risk a high draft pick on him.

The kid has some serious talent though, what a waste

Does this kid even have enough willpower to stay off drugs? If he cant even do it in college, whats he going to do with a NFL salary other than smoke weed all day erryday.

no one has said the cowboys? theyre never out of the picture and look for talent even though guys might have question marks. 2nd or 3rd round with a good combine, could be somewhat like jenoris jenkins with the rams. high risk, high reward

If he gets drafted after all of this and basically a year off I will be shocked.

Brb 5’9 corner that smokes dope like it’s going out of style, gets booted from the god damn SEC and again from a crap school.

Pac MAN JONES

No thanks JEFF

Pacman Jones had arrests for violence & all sorts of red flags BEFORE he was even drafted.

Honey Badger just has a weed problem.

The kid has a knack for the game. He's instinctual. Having watched every game he played in at LSU, the dude just knew where the ball was going to be somehow.

He won't. He's a 4.6 guy. I'd be surprised to see him run anything under 4.6 at the combine.

As far as size, I think it could be an advantage. IDK what it is, but it almost seemed like when he caused all those fumbles and other big hits, it was like the player taking the hit was thinking, "this guy's too small, he won't do anything," then BAM, he fuks them up. I think it may have been a case of underestimation on the case of the FFs. Not taking away from the kid's skills, because he has them. Also, he's not 5'9". 5'8" tops, closer to 5'7.5". We'll find out at the combine.

I'd take him on the 49ers with a late 3rd round pick, he's a natural playmaker and could make for a very solid slot corner in the pro's.
