I had thought during the months leading up to the election that Romney had way more money raised than Obama, but after reading a article just now( http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/07/super-pacs-2012-election-outside-money_n_2087040.html?utm_hp_ref=politics ) They basically said Romney was out of money after primaries, and until SuperPacs helped him, he was being outspent 4-1, and even after the help was 2-1.

Anyone know where I can find estimates or good sources for amount of money spent during this election by each side?

There are other topics for discussing Romney vs Obama, just asking about money spent not anything else political or economical, so use other topics for Obama or Romney sucking and bashing

According to libs on the R/P, the one who spends the most should always win.

What do you mean by that, morally or factually? Something like 90ish% of politicians win based off how much money is contributed to them.

They said around 790 for Obama, 780 for Romney, in millions...

Romney is worth about 250 Million
Obama is worth about 12 Million

Obama spent more on the campaign

Can you back that up with stats?

Now the million dollar question for libs; was said donated money 'free money', or was it special interest money?

Note: and by 'free money', i mean urine idiot if you believe money is free.
