What kinds of oatmeal do you buy. I am a college student, I have a fruit/skim/protein shake and I want to have some oatmeal with it for a post workout breakfast. So what kind, and what other quick good foods can I grab besides can tuna (have about 50 cans).

I eat the Quaker Oats Old Fashion style on a daily basis, avoid the flavored ones cause they kill all of the benefits of oatmeal....Almonds are good to have on hand too

walnuts are better imo. those Nazis at the FDA even recognize that it reduces heart disease.

If your grocery store has a bulk foods isle where you scoop the food into a bag yourself, look for rolled oats there. You can get the oats for 50-60 cents per pound which is way cheaper than Quaker Old Fashioned.

Quaker oats are great. I'l throw in some frozen blueberries, or 1/2 a banana and a scoop of protein powder. Great way to start the day!

straight quaker oats, if you have a costco around they sell a HUGE amount and a lot better deal than from a grocery store, also the steel cut oats are good too (if you want a little diff texture) they have same nutritional value, just a different cut of the oat.
