Poll coming.

I don't think either of them won ...It is just like the second debate , the Right will say Romney won and the Left will say Obama won .

This is why I added the question about changing votes.

I expected the president to do well given the fact that he's spent the last 4 years dealing with foreign policy. I had my vote cast before the first debate.

Romney won and it wasn't even close. Anyone who thinks differently needs to stop by a psychiatric hospital and get an evaluation.

Do you regret having voted so early, or have you not been swayed by the debates at all?

If you think otherwise you're delusional

Not even American and Romney got destroyed.

I think foreign policy goes over most people's heads, the average reaction was probably along the lines of "meh" and then back to football again.

Ultimately I don't see this moving the dials on the polls in either direction. On MSNBC they'll be celebrating Obama's massive win, on FoxNews they'll say Romney won, in truth, it really doesn't matter, at this point its all about the ground game, the only way this debate would have made a difference is if one of these candidates had made a ridiculous gaffe which didn't happen.

I've already voted (absentee), and that vote didn't go to either man on the stage tonight.

This debate was actually pretty boring.

Obama came off rude and aggressive.

Romney seemed embarrassed to be next to someone worth less than 100,000,000 dollars.

Did you answer the survey, and would you care to share? Who do you think made the stronger case tonight?

I voted for Gary Johnson since I can't vote for Ron Paul. :P

And no.

And it was boring.

Obama has a smother delivery. He is a much better and more practice speaker. I didn't hear anything that made either one stood out except that Obama seemed pissed, frustrated..etc. But Romney also seemed like a little kid, stuttering. It was like the nerd being smacked around by the cool kid

Didn't detect one main winner. But Obama certainly spewed a ton of false statements, highlighting the desperation of a man who's unable to run on the success of his record...

This... mainly the last part. Someone who has been President for 4 years should be able to say a ton of thing about what he has done and how electing him will allow him to continue the good things that him and only he will do. He did none of that. He is a weaker version of himself 4 years ago.

I meant figuratively. I haven't' actually voted yet. Just made up my mind already.

You didn't hear him listing his accomplishments at all, or contrast his actions with Romney's (variable) positions on issues?

I think Obama came out ahead, as expected.

I wouldn't contemplate voting for either. It'd take something extraordinary to really change that.

I don't think a debate that was basically, "I agree" spun to the nth degree would change many people's minds.

I felt that it was a tie. It wasn't a game-changer, unfortunately for Romney.

what false statements?

Since I can't remember 1 1/2 hours of talking, a few high points...

- Said he didn't intend to keep troops in Iraq, even though he was negotiating to do exactly that

- Said we can't return to failed policies of the past which created record deficits... Even though record deficits have been HIS policy for the past four years

- Said he opposed Sequestration... seemed to overlook that he signed it into law. (And bizarrely claimed the Sequestration which is Federal Law "will not happen" - a claim his campaign is already back peddling from).

He tried to say that Romney's scholarship policy was there before he got in office, and got smacked down for it. There is one.

I think Romney accomplished what he wanted to do. He didn't come off like another bush warhawk. I think undecided voters will view him as competent on foreign policy.

Obama was not very big picture, and I don't think undecided voters will like his demeneanor or answers to several points. He provided plenty of quotes to excite his base though, which was probably his goal.

I have the same suspicion. I think people on this board have already made up their minds and these debates simply make them happy and confident, or sad and anxious. I've been moving from the latter to the former with each contest.
