do these clowns even practice?

brb can't hit 30 yard fg's with any consistency..

brb anything over 35 is like hitting a 60 yarder in the nfl

makes me respect nfl kickers a little more

its all technique.

Sometimes if you take a few days off, it'll take you that amount of time to regain your form (srs)

Having kicked before, it is very difficult to consistently make a 45 yard fg. It's amazing seeing kickers like Akers, Crosby, and Knaeding make 90% of their kicks from 45-50 like it's nothing. Most college kickers should make anything from 30-40 fairly consistent though. Wisconsin just escaped because of this. Kicker from Utah State missed a 36 yarder right hash. Ironically I never missed a kick under 35 yards in high school. I did miss 4 extra points though lol.

LOL @ using professional standards to judge college kickers.

BRB college kids should be just about as good as the top 32 kickers in the world. Theres a reason Morten Anderson was able to play untill his was 46 years old. Not very many people are "elite" and if you are, it's hard to be replaced.

lol I was a sophomore for 3 of them. I was the starting center-mid for our soccer team and only kicked because we literally had nobody else and didn't want people to get pissed at me during school. I missed one very meaningful one senior year that caused us to go to OT and ended up kicking my career long of 43 yards to win the game. I wanted to run out of the stadium after every miss though, it's so embarrassing.

Edit: I guess I did miss a kick under 35 yards because I missed EP's but you got the point. I hit the crossbar on a 50 yarder when we were up 40 or something. That was exciting until it fell short.
