First time body building about 5 ft 9 inch 12 st .2 last time weighed. No former weight training but did jiu jitsu for 6 years. All advice is welcome and appreciated :D Think im about 20.9% body fat but this was a few months ago so give or take.

I'd say slow bulk for a while. You do have some fat to lose now, but if you lost it you'd just be skin and bones. Build a solid muscle base and then cut the fat after that.

Are you uncomfortable with the way you currently look? If so, there is absolutely no reason you can't cut down to 10% or so before beginning your slow bulk. Yes, you'll be a stick but I'd rather be a stick than have a pronounced gut at the end of my bulk.

Are you serious? What is he going to cut? He has no lbm and thus no baseto cut to. Op bulk immediately

I would say this: enjoy the healthy foods you like and lift weights.

Bulk up. It's only going to benefit you more in the long run.

lift heavy, and lose the fat.
you need to learn self control & how to eat healthy FIRST..

Bulk... you have no appreciable muscle mass to be seen if you were to cut right now. You can't chisel a pebble.

You need muscle first

You can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, lift heavy and eat good
