I don't see guys trying this around the league. Everyone talks about that phaggytime spin counter, but Reggie White's hump move seems more effective. Maybe Reggie was just that beast mode that guys can't duplicate it?

That's a very common pass rushing technique. I saw Bruce Irvin use it just the last preseason game. Not everyone has the strength Reggie White had to completely dislodge the pass blocker with such ease though.

lol its not a hump move. He's using the offensive lineman's momentum against him. Every power rusher uses it.

I wouldnt necessarily call that a "move". The offensive lineman was backing up, Reggie punches him to throw him off balance. Just a smart play with overwhelming strength from Reggie.

Pretty much he used his badass strength to destroy a guy who had bad balance. Pretty common

Not sure if srs

He consistently did this to offensive linemen. It was a move, he fcking coined it the "hump" move himself.

I'm not talking about a one off clown who pushed a guy, I'm talking about an elite player who replicated Reggies move.

And then he pulled his classic hump move. He brings his inside arm up and under my right shoulder. He brings his arm up and then just hits you right across the shoulder and basically just moves you out of the way enough so that he can get a clear path right to the quarterback. You'd see him make the move on film, you know, you'd see him just throw linemen aside and you'd think it was brute strength, but he could have moved me with a tap of his finger. It was the stuff he did before he threw you that made it for him. It was the way he got you off balance and then moved from the outside to the inside. It was what he did to your feet."

it's a club. just a really really badass club.

the real question is, how many people realize just how many penalties White would get today in Goodell's game?
