The bulls were killing them, the whole wizards team just stopped even trying to fight back and just kept feeding the ball to mcgee so he could get his triple double, but he kept bricking shots. went on for over 4 minutes.

Blatche did it too. He needed one rebound and he was asking people to let him get it during free throws. look it up its pretty pathetic

Not sure if you realize but UC Schools generally lower their GPA requirement by half an entire point for in-state kids. A cousin of mine just got in to Berkeley and he said his GPA was a 3.4

Nah, I'm pretty sure those are baseball players.

As of Wednesday morning, 917 players had appeared in at least one big-league game this season, according to STATS LLC. Of that group, only 39 — or 4.3 percent — were confirmed by their teams of MLB as having obtained four-year college degrees through a FOXSports.com survey of clubs.

I could go on a little more in detail, but I don't want to derail this thread.

No dude, it's definitely basketball players. Pretty sure the academic statistics of players leaving high school confirm this.

Lol, college degrees isn't really the best measuring stick for athletes anyway...

Then how do you know basketball players are dumber than baseball players?

Outside of common stereotypes or citing the bell curve on race, there isn't any way you can make such a claim espescially if you're removing the only concrete benchmark to use. Your opinion has no basis.

You're forgetting nearly 1/2 of the MLB are from Latin American countries where they stopped attending school in 5th grade to focus on baseball.

Lol I'm well aware of those who grow up somewhere else and barely speak English when they come here. What excuse do NBA players have?

The numbers suggest the latter. According to the NCAA's research, 43.1 percent of men's basketball players, 35.2 percent of football players and 15.3 percent of all student-athletes who enrolled as freshmen in 2009-10 to play Division I sports would not have met the 2016 standards.

That's from that article you posted a couple days go.

Based on what?

Wait, are you honestly saying that NBA players cant speak english?

Man you're going all in on the stereotypes.

That's from that article you posted a couple days go.
Less than 10% of all college basketball players reach the NBA, those who do are well prepared for college early on. You should know this.

Thats a silly argument to use and I didn't expect you to revive that thread to push your agenda.

My concern of the changes had nothing to do with their intelligence, but simply preperation for football players as they easily fall through the cracks early on compared to basketball players in HS.

There's no agenda my man, I just don't think highly of NBA player's intelligence for the most part. That stat you provided was the easiest example since there is no real study of which sport wins out. Dumbest athlete in all of sports has to be Javale Mcgee.

Lol, college degrees isn't really the best measuring stick for athletes anyway...

Yeah the best measuring stick is making inferences on someones intelligence based on how they speak during a halftime interview after they got finished running up and down the court for 20 minutes.

Yes, you have an agenda you're pushing.
