Either one would be a great choice. Seems like they're both really respected among the players

Pop is gonna be old as fuk in 2016, I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire from coaching after the Games

Let DC do it and get the gold medal he was robbed of in 72.

Pop or Doc are great options... if USA lands either they're set up nicely.

Pop, he knows how to build a team and get them to play as one. Doc wouldn't be bad mind.

Doc is the perfect coach IMO. Emphasizes defense, is around the right age and respects the games.

But honestly I hope they give it to Doug Collins. He deserves to coach a team to gold.

idk I just can't stand Doc's whole mainstream, socialist, "gangsta" hip-hop personailty. It just irks me. Typical though. Pop would be a good fit since he coaches a lot of international players and is a stern coach, but I think he'll be too old and retire by 2016. Look for Mike Izzou, calipari, bohiem, thad matta on the NCAA level to be a top cannidate, and Tom Thibodeau, Rick Carlisle, Frank Vogel, Scott Brooks or possibly Erik spolstra from the nba level to be top picks.
