I have a Dell Studio XPS 1647, about 2 years old. Selling it because it's too bulky, and it overheats pretty bad.

I bought it for around $850 I believe.

- 15.6" display
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz, 2261 MHz
- Windows 7 Premium Home Edition
- 4GB RAM
- Video Card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670
- 450 GB Hard Drive

here is the link, bought it from Best Buy

I put it on Craigslist for like $550, not sure if this is too high. got an offer for $400, but debating whether i should sell it to him for that much

thoughts?

400 seems fair. If anything your ripping him off. I wouldn't put much value on a 2 year old laptop from a stranger imo

$400 is a really good deal for you OP. It's a 2 year old laptop FFS.

I sold an MSI core I3 4gb of RAM (obviously it is worse than the XPS), 2 years old, on ebay for $300.

does the buy know that it over heats easily? If they do and are still offering $400, take it or reply back with $450 and see what happens.

Why are men supposed to haggle? Haggling is a biitch move, either buy it for the price listed or GTFO. Leave it to women.
