Even with eating two meals a day with intermittent fasting and the 2nd meal being the largest (nearly 2500 calories), I still find myself wanting more after that meal and I will often times just snack after my meal not stopping. I try to fill up by chugging large quantities of water, eating a large salad before the meal and eating a load of veggies also to fill me up but even then I still end up wanting more. What are some of the most filling foods for the amount of calories?

I get extremely full from eating a ground flax seed cereal.

1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/3 cup coconut flakes
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup coconut milk
a few ground walnuts
microwave for about a minute or so.

Cottage cheese and greek yogurt are at the top of my list of most filling foods on a cut that at least have protein in large amounts. Obviously things like raw veggies also but they are hardly providing the macros one needs. In general though it is hard to go wrong with fiberous veggies and lean protein.

For my snack I also found frozen strawberries to work wonders, they are hard to eat because they are so cold and only 50cals a cup.

Try mixing frozen berries of any type with greek yogurt. You'll thank me later.

Keep a packet of roasted chana (black gram). It has good nutrition value as well around 24% protein.

Plain greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, and frozen berries is a favorite of mine. But I don't find it all that filling.

For filling foods for the calories, I'd have to say broccoli is #1.

If you could have them all day, then they're probably not very filling.
