So, I am currently 156lbs with ~15% BF and my goal is 164lbs with ~10% BF.

So would I just add 5-6% to the 164lbs(172.2- 173.8lbs) and shoot for that as my weight goal before I start cutting down?

Thank you and sorry if this is the wrong forum, it has to do with losing fat :p

It depends how dirty your bulk is, your math assumes that you'll be only gaining muscle while bulking, which is possible, but it's a slower, less efficient process then a normal bulk where you put on a bit of fat.

Okay thank you. I guess I should maybe push around 7-7.5% for the addition. I have been very clean with my bulking so far, I know it is less efficient, but it is summer time and I don't want to get to chunky looking :].

By your goals and doing a few calculations, you would have to gain 15 pounds of muscle from where you are now -- right now you have ~132.5 pounds of LBM and you would have ~147.5 pounds of LBM at 10% weighing 164. So you would have to weigh at least:
156 + 15 + some amount of fat + some amount of LBM that you would lose during your cut
at the time you start your cut. Everyone gains different amounts of fat for the amount of LBM gained so I cannot estimate this for you. This is not a short term proposition. To gain that much muscle is going to take you a long time. Not that it can't be done, I'm just making you aware of the realities.

Thank you, it is a long term goal after I hit my first goal.

I know what you mean. I'd love to put on 10-15 pounds of LBM.
