Its Bill-fuking-Murray!!!

He did Meatballs, Caddyshack and Ghostbusters.

That gives him a pass

It's Bill Murray doing his schtick. If you don't like him, you can disregard this film.

Ever see Stripes? If you hate that, or hate him in it, forget anything else he's made.

...and, on the music front, if you're diggin' Nirvana, I won't spoil things for you, but it doesn't turn out very well for Kurt.

Farley,Murray and Chevy never really were funny after SNL, at least not in movies...

Farley trashed his legacy, by doing some of the crap he did .

I enjoy Groundhog day. Is it a gut buster full of nonstop laughs? no
but it has some funny moments, has a good story and is somewhat heart warming.

I've never thought Chevy was funny .... but Farley and Murray had their moments. Groundhog day was OK, but i hated "what about bob?". Halfway through the movie, I wanted to shoot Murray myself.

Per imdb.com -
Groundhog Day (1993) Rating 8.1
Back To The Future (1985) Rating 8.5
It's A Wonderful Life (1946) Rating 8.7
Scrooged (1988) Rating 6.8

Groundhog Day is sort of related to Scrooge or It's A Wonderful Life, except there are no ghosts and he actually is born. You might just want to cut to the chase and watch Scrooged, which has some good physical humor. And I like Karen Allen better than Andie MacDowell anyway.
