How much and how often do you eat ice cream (B&J, Breyers, Dreyers, Blue bunny...)??

I get a pint of something different to try every week.

I eat a cup whenever I'm a little low on carbs for the day which is usually 2-3 times a week. I go with the Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom and fat free stuff personally so that I can eat more ice cream and it tastes pretty darn good.

I tend to rotate b/t BnJ Cinnamon Buns, Klondike Bars, and other goodies daily. Around 250-400 calories a day. The rest of my diet is boring old whole foods like fruits, veggies, meats, etc. On occasion, I'll bust out one of these:

Not exactly 250-400 calories though. More like 1250. It was slightly challenging to eat.

I eat icecream every night.

On nights that I don't have work (at my job) i'll eat a small container of icecream. About 1/2 a cup and 200-270 calories.

On nights that I work I eat a pint of icecream.

Always B&J or Haagen Dazs

Dude, this is awesome. Chocolate chip mint is my favorite, but making a sammich with cookies never crossed my mind. I will be doing this in the near future!

Well considering I just had 4 servings of peanut butter panic, and two servings of chocolate waffle cone, I would say a lot.

Make sure you get a cookie that has some "chew" to it so it won't just fall apart. I bought these cookies from my local Safeway's bakery (10-12pack, $5) and they were perfect for this task. If making your own, just use some bread flour and/or brown sugar to help add "chew."

just to double check (because i eat Bryers ice cream nearly everynight). on the label it says 1/2 cup = 150 calories. scale weight wise, 1/2 cup of ice cream is = 68 grams weight, correct?

It's typically right around there, but usually different with every ice cream. I right now have some Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Chocolate which is 67 grams per 1/2 cup and some ff Blue Bunny Brownie Sunday which is 71 grams per 1/2 cup. Just look at the grams labeled on the package and your golden.

it's a bad habit, but almost every night haha gotta love that cookies n' cream or chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for desert :D I think I have a good cup and a half too, to make it worse but it's all good, especially during the summer and me needing to bulk up anyway lol

It depends B&J or HD are a lot thicker (and tastier) so they are usually 100-110 g per 1/2 cup

It will say right on the Breyers carton how much a half cup weighs in grahams. If memory serves, it's anywhere from 59-65g depending on the flavor (I'm talking about the BLASTS! line), which really goes to show you how airy and thin it is. Complete garbage.

^^^To answer the question though, I go through 2 pints a week.

its probably different in the States, but here in Canada there it does not list the grams on my Bryers ice cream. all it says is serving size of 1/2 cup (125ml)

usually kill a 1/2 gallon of of breyers "thats loaded" ice creams a week. (different types, i like oreo birthday cake and mis Fields brownie)

on weekends, i pick up pints of "Arctic Zero" (google it) and I'll eat 1 or 2 of those pnts a night as a 'bed time snack' ... rocks!

i eat 2 servings of bryers low carb about 4-5 days per week. I will add waldens and some whip cream to it. If i have room 1/4 c oats on top. yum! on my lower carb/cals days if im craving ice cream its a couple servings of arctic zero with waldens. but i try to freeze some CC and whey for 20 mins instead.

havent had ben and jerrys in a bit but its time!

When i am able to eat more I prob sub in a couple pints of ben and jerrys during the week.
