So my dad has been dieting for a while and has struggled to lose weight... I asked him how many calories he's been eating and he says he normally eats around 1500 calories. Today he ate only 1300. Obviously that's way too low of a deficit, he's about 210 pounds, 6 foot tall. Used to be jacked so he does have some muscle. Can anyone post a few links or anyone to help me convince him he's obviously way too low on his calories? He's bound to lose muscle at that range but I don't know how to prove it to him, I need reliable sources.
