I'm not even a HEAT fan but I even know that have faced much more resilience on the way to the finals than the Thunder. The HEAT have fought and clawed their way through 3 of the best defensive teams in the league while the Thunder have played 3 terrible defensive teams that weren't able to defend the speed of their offense. Now the Thunder are going up against a team that is even more athletic and will have to find other ways to score other than jumpshots against the best 1 on 1 and team d in the NBA which they are not capable of because they have horrible big men. Meanwhile in Miami, the HEAT will be playing their easiest offensive series yet against a terrible defense. This is why Heat in 5, maybe 6 if they want to pull more tv revenue.

although it makes sense that leagues benefit from longer series in all leagues which use series as their playoff format...is there actually any pressure from the league or owners on team management or officials to make series draw out as long as possible??? any proof?

Even though you're a troll, you actually have a point. OKC does not have a top-10 defense and a team without a top-10 defense has not won the finals in over a decade. Furthermore, OKC relies mostly on jumpshots and Miami has probably the best perimeter defenders in the league.

Point is moot. OKC is only the 3rd team to ever win 4 straight in the playoffs after being down 2-0. Only 6% of teams have won after being in that hole, much less with 4 in a row. None of that stuff matters, Heat are getting spanked.

HEAT win in 5. Thunder have nobody to score in the halfcourt against a focused Miami D

The most mind blowing thing is that Lebron really hasn't even got going yet with his jumpshooting woes and yet the HEAT are going into game 3 with homecourt advantage

Prediction Game 3 HEAT 113 Thunder 80

Lebron scores 40 points against a uninspired Thunder team playing in a hostile environment.
