View Full Version : No one thinks Boston has a chance?

Sort of reminds me of Lakers-Celtics finals in 2010.

Celtics get blown out in game 6 but know the magnitude of a game 7 and come out with everything they have. Sure they lost, but the Heat aren't the Lakers of 2010. Veterans + Rondo + Doc Rivers will not go down easy.

On the other side, Lebron won't go for 45 again and the Heat have been known to be unable to contend when they need it most.

The conspiracy stuff is hard to ignore (Beat the Heat Thunder shirts, NBA.com page) but idk guise, I think Boston has a legit chance.

Debatable.

Rasheed Wallace played a great game in the absence of Perkins.

You don't wanna play that game. 2008: No Bynum or a healthy Ariza.

Yea and a lot of the "experts" said Miami had no chance in game 6.

I think it will be a close game...definitely a single digit margin of victory for the heat.

The better team won. Simple as that. Boston killed them in '08. They don't have baby any more. That was actually a big loss, in my eyes.

You probably said the same thing in last years finals.

Lebron 33 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists

Dwyane Wade 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists

Chris Bosh 22 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists

Final Score
Miami 103
Boston 94

I'm just saying you never which Lebron you're going to get.

There was a lot of power struggle with that team because it was Wade's team. Respectively, that has changed and the king is going to do everything in his power to fuel his team to succeed.

Well, except the one that's averaging 32/10 on 50%. That one's been showing up every night.

32/10 doesn't necessarily mean a win though. He can get that in a game where he's being passive simply because he'll get some easy shots/fast breaks and free throws.

If he's aggressive early and sets that tempo for his team, they'll win. BUT he doesn't come out hungry like that often and that's what I'm questioning.

I kind of understand what you're saying but you have to admit, there's no other player in the league who's hunger is questioned averaging an extremely efficient 32/10/6. Literally no one's expectations are even in the same arena.

Is this a serious post? Do you want us to compare finals statistics between the two?

The Lakers shot 33%, that game wasn't about offense.

As nervous/excited as I am to watch the game, you can't ignore a few things.

Bosh is shaking off rust.
LeBron was fcuking scary game 6.
Wade is due for a HUGE game.

Plus all the shirts and columns we've seen lulz

I don't think Boston has the horses to run with the Heat. The Celtics looked really tired in game 6 and going to a 7th game on the road isn't helping that. Boston has to slow the pace down and keep this a low scoring game, but I just don't see how they do that if LeBron comes out guns blazing again.

they weren't as tired as they were lazy as usual in closeout games, they're likely gonna bounce back and make this a close game
