fuarkkkkk, not even a kings fan, but they c'mon son, 10-0 on the road this post season? The last two games were nail biting, the NHL needs more love on here.

hate both teams but LA has just been too damn good in the playoffs. the cup is theirs and has been since they swept Van and STL.

I'm from Jersey and couldn't give a f*ck less about the Devils. (srs)

I lol'd at the fact the NBA Draft lottery had higher ratings than game 1 of the Stanley Cup.

sitting on the glass for a hockey is the best of all sports. Well worth the $900 to people get jacked up right in front of you and blood dipping down their nose.

This isn't the type of matchup that brings in new fans. The Pens/Wings series were both great for that purpose.

Kings fans who've waited 45 years, good for you... it's a shame they're in a city that's mostly bandwagon fans, though

most devils fans are bandwagoners too.. glad to see them shut up on facebook when they haven't talked about them since 2003.

Devils fan since I was 8, missed the past two games cause of work but glad to see the Devils do well this year after having to deal with injuries over the past few years.
Gotta give it to the Kings tho, 10-0 on the road in the playoffs is unheard of.
Also to lose those 2 games in OT is devastating

If I wanna watch fighting, I'll watch MMA or Boxing.

Watched every game, If not for some bonehead plays from some of the canucks players the series could have easily gone 4-1 for van.

Enjoy spending your $1000 plus to watch a 30 second fight for MMA. Boxing would be cool if it was actually a good matchup aka Pac/Floyd

The Kings would be a team to root for if that Brown wasnt such a dirtball, phaggot. Dont know what it is about him. He just has this quality about him, the same guys like Manu Ginobili and chirs Kaman have, where you just hate them for no particular reason.

Boxing is pathetic nowadays.

The problem is espn doesn't have a contract to air NHL games like they do with others sports, so they don't give it any attention on sports center, 1st and 10, ect. I wouldn't have a problem with this if they didn't make it to obvious. Like last week when nicolas lidstrom announced his retirement, Sports center never even mentioned it.

So... they didn't sweep them. That's like saying "he pretty much got a shutout, they scored one goal."

I love the LA Kings. The Kings have a great fan base in Los Angeles. Although LA will always be a Dodger town, there are a lot of loyal Kings fans.

the reason people don't watch hockey is because it's expensive as fuk to play. any poor welfare fahggot from the ghetto can buy a ball for 5 bucks and go shoot hoops at a playground. not very many open or outdoor rinks anyone can go to to play for free in the US. and even if there were, you have to buy your own equipment if you want to play, and that's gonna run you at least 300 bucks and that's for really $h1tty gear. on top of that it's about 500$ to play a season in the in house league (i played for 8 years)

hockey is expensive to play. hence why you don't see very many hispanics or black NHL players. mainly rich white boys. that's why nobody appreciates it in the US.

People only watch what ESPN tells them to watch. No hockey coverage = no viewers.

Do not forget eastern europeans who can play puck on frozen ponds 8 months out of the year.
