This is green tea extract with noni.

I mix it with hot water than ice it. The hot water desolves the powder well and leaves no chunks floating around. I like the pineapple strawberry flavor.

At meals I like unsweetened ice tea. I just add 4 tea bags to a jug of cold water and leave it in the fridge.

At work, a big mug of green tea. I prefer Ti Kuan Yin Oolong that I buy online from Capital Tea.

Why does everyone want to "cut back" on diet soda? I realize that 6 a day may be a bit much, but just 1 or 2 a week? Really? Why? What's so harmful about it?I think it's a mental attaboy..... to be able to tell yourself you have control over something. They don't make you fat or anything, and the current batch of artificial sweeteners aren't toxic, so the only potential problem could be with excessive sodium. But, you'd have to drink cases and cases per day to get much adverse effect from even that. Most folks eat many times over the amount of sodium in a diet soda.

That narrow classification of milk always gets to me. Why is milk being singled out as having a binary existence?

Yeah, I'm addicted to Monsters!you know all them rat studies where they feed them about what would be equal to 4 garbage bags full of the stuff a day for us and they get disease and say, see, it causes disease. Why does everyone want to "cut back" on diet soda? I realize that 6 a day may be a bit much, but just 1 or 2 a week? Really? Why? What's so harmful about it?

Last year around 4th of July time when all the "professional eaters" come out there was a piece on the news about how they prepare for the sport of gluttony. Several of them mentioned that they drink sode (diet or otherwise) to expand their stomachs so they can take in more food, made me sick thinking about it.

"A stalactite is a type of speleothem (secondary mineral) that hangs from the ceiling of limestone caves. It is a type of dripstone."

Do wut?

The biological postpartum function of lactating is to produce nourishment for for an offspring that cannot feed itself or it's digestive system isn't developed enough to ingest the primary foodsources of that species. Seems simple enough to suggest that Cow's milk is meant for calves and not humans. What other species drinks the milk of a different species other than it's own.

Don't let it get to you, it's only an opinion.:D

With a hot meal, it has to be milk. If we're having a dinner of good hearty comfort food, I'll go through a quart easily. Otherwise it's bubbly water. We've been buying cases of Perrier in plastic bottles at Costco, but I also like the cans of generic soda water or seltzer water that we get in 12 packs at the supermarket.

Yeah, you hit on something. I do take milk way too seriously. Honey, too...but I understand where you're coming from. My wife used to love milk until she was five years old. Then one day she just couldn't drink it anymore. It makes her extremely sick.

What got to me in your post was the inference that drinking cow's milk (or goat's milk) is unnatural, but putting dehydrated, flavor infused crystals isn't. :)

Nothing personal...it's really my problem, not yours that my brain cramps when I encounter what appear to be inconsistencies.

Cold: Water (although our drive-in has spectacular ice-cold Pepsi-Cola at the snack bar which is excellent with lots of ice).

Hot: Tea. Earl Grey Vanilla, Blueberry, Orange Blossom, so many.

And oddly, I love a good hot cup of very strong frothy (but not a latte) cup of coffee during the really hot humid dog days of summer.

FlaIronMind

Now it would probably have to be coffee.

As for sodas, back when I was at my fattest (and the years preceding that time), I would go through about 24 cans of (regular) Coke per week. Two twelve packs is what we would buy each week at the grocery store.

Just prior to my return to the dungeon, I stopped drinking sodas altogether. Haven't had one since and don't intend to. No longer even have a desire to. Not even the Cokes in the little glass bottles. In fact, I've almost forgotten how Coke tastes. I remember how it feels when drinking it. But as for the actual flavor...nope. I've forgotten. Feels good too.

As far as diet stuff goes, I simply cannot consume artificial sweeteners. They invariably give me splitting headaches. Part of the reason the majority of mix/supps are out for me too.

I have broken away before as well and then went back to caffeine lol. The last time I had headaches but this time no headaches at all. I like pepsi so I just get the caffeine free pepsi when I want one.
