Thinking about turning my third car garage into a gym. I'm looking at utilizing mats on the floor. Does anyone have a cheap, economical solution for fllor mats. Don't want weights destroying the nice concrete...lol.

i've got rubber mats on mine, but the carpet allows them to move too much. on a concrete floor it probably wouldn't be an issue. good pad, antibacterial qualities to it. I'd guess the room is probably something like 15x15. It was 200 to cover the whole area

kid play mats work pretty well too, if you don't mind a floor covered with primary colors :)

I use these myself - and the flip side is all black, so it looks just fine...

I'll be using stall mats when I finish my redneck engineered cable crossover set up. I already have those kid mats in one corner for a nice place to stretch and such, but wouldn't trust them for stability when working with heavy weights.

Stall mats are the way to go but be forwarned the big ones are frickin heavy.:D Would not waste my time or $$$ on anything else.
