View Full Version : Losing weight without strength training?

I was wondering what some of the setbacks/dangers of losing weight without strength training are.
I started out at 150 lbs and now I'm down to 127 with diet and exercise (Running mainly and other stuff we do at PT)
I'm going on vacation soon and will stick to my diet but wouldn't be able to get to a gym for another month and a half or so and was wondering what exactly happens when you lose weight without strength training?

Pic is from 2 days ago. Not the best but it's basically me without a shirt on.
Also, bf estimates please?

Thanks in advance.

are you competing with a starving african child on who can get to under 100lbs first?
no strength training = no muscle
you shouldnt be dieting... go eat some food and do body exercises like push ups.

That's why I wanted to lose weight. And I know weight training is essential but I had no money for a membership nor do I even know how to get started :/
