View Full Version : 20Wk Cut - Is this too long?

Hi all!

I was wondering if a 20wk cut a bit too long? I started at 194lbs, and I'm currently at 182lbs (7 weeks in). I'm hoping to get to 170lbs

I'm dieting with 1.8kCal roughly 190-200g protein, 55-65g fat, and 100-130g carbs (changes from day-to-day depends what I cook). I have a refeed day on Saturday where I try and take in 2300-2500cal 150-160g protein, 40-50g fat, 200-300g carbs.

I work out 4x a week lifting 5/3/1 high volume. I haven't done any cardio, I walk around camp - and work 3x a week standing on my feet for 4hrs.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm on week 17 of my cut. 215 lbs down to 171 lbs. It's whatever you're comfortable with. I do daily cardio though. Doing 2 to 3 hours of low-moderate cardio 2x to 3x a week then other days I just do 30 mins of moderate cardio. I lift 3x a week doing full body lifts.

Your routine looks solid. Just keep to it until you're satisfied with your cut. 20 weeks is not too long.
