View Full Version : your opinions on creatine on a cutting LOW CARB diet?!

so i plan on taking green buldge as i continue my low carb diet.

i plan on cutting carbs out of my post work out and just having carbs in the morning so my agenda would look something like:

-AM CARDIO
AM MEAL + CREATINE
immediately after LIFT
-PWO SHAKE
-protein
-protein + fats
-protein + fats

lolol. any opinions on the low carbs cause from what i udnerstand creatine works hand in hand with carbs so is that am carbs enough? Id plan to have about 50 grams of carbs

actually what is your opinions on using universal torrent for my PWO shake for the carbs in that? instead of my no carb protein shakes

Creatine and carbs needed to go together in 1997.

Low carb diet should not hinder effectiveness of creatine.

ive read all that. but i incorporate what i learned personally as well. as far as counting calories, i do estimate but in my opinion trying to calculate it to a precise number is impossible and a waste of time cause in the end it is always an estimate

A massive amount of carbs will help elevate muscle creatine levels faster when loading (i.e. 100 grams carbs + 5 grams creatine 4 times a day for 5 days) but that's about the limit to their relevance.

creatine will be effective regardless. On a cut the only thing I can say is you will have to use the mirror to check progress because your wieght will spike up. (water weight). So after a month on creatine you can establish a new baseline weight of the scale.
