just wondering the lower the percentage of bodyfat you have, means you burn more at rest? compared to someone at the same age, same weight! same hieght!

for example.

person A- 160lb- 10%-very fit and active, runs, cycles, lift weights, eats a balance diet, trains 7days a week, ect ect
person B- 160lb- 15%- some what fit, trains 2,3 times perweek, eats what he likes.

just seeing if person A would burn more, if both sitting in a chair all day! but person A has a lower heart rate at rest, due to how fit he is compared to person B.

Person A would have more lean tissue, thus more muscle mass. That extra muscle mass needs calories to maintain itself, and thus the difference in TDEE.
