You guys have very odd standards if over-celebrating makes guys the MOST unlikeable players in the MLB. I can understand if it rubs you the wrong way, but to make a guy the MOST unlikeable player seems a little far-fetched.

If it was true though, that would go a good way towards explainning why there are 15-yard penalties in the NFL for it.

Hanley rameriz that lazy pos, hard guy to root for the way he plays.
He gets his manager fired, this isn't the nba.

I actually like celebrating. If a guy hits a HR, stare down the pitcher and start a brawl, I love that ****.

I hate it when Pujols hits a routine fly ball yet stands there and looks at it as if every time he makes contact it's going to be a home run.

I can understand if you hate that, but does that really make Pujols the most unlikeable person in the entire sport?

Valverde does that s*** after strike 1. Forget about it if he gets someone to strike out, he's dancing all the way off the mound and is practically near the batter's box or 1st base. I can see why it annoys people since he does it hardcore.

Well my son and I are "Phillies junkies" so we have personally met almost all of the players. So of course some have been extremely nice to my son (he's only 9 now) while others have been extremely rude over the years. Some great one's were Rollins, Thome, Rowand, Lee, etc. and some not-so-great one's like Vance Worley, Cole Hamels, etc.

But on a strictly watching baseball note ... I would have to say Ryan Braun. Not only did he steal the MVP Award from Matt Kemp last season, but then he had the nerve to cheat to do it and try to blame it on some poor guy who takes the samples for a living. What A POS.

Shane Victorino is annoying but there is way worst. Braun took the b*tch way out, ticks me off to an extent. Seen a couple game where they boo him.

I think he was most hated baseball player from like 2004-2009. You could throw in other guys in the mix like Curt Schilling (Biggest POS ever) but Arod was probably the most hated in that time period. He won a title in 2009, shut up his October critics with a monster postseason in 2009. He has kept his mouth shut the last two years and pretty much lay low. I don't think many care about Arod these days. He also hasn't been much good since 2009.

As a Twins fan, A.J. Pukezynski otherwise Manny.

I think AJ is a true candidate for this, lol. He is not hated by his fanbase because he under-achieves. He is also not hated because he is such an offense machine that just ticks off the opposition. He just ticks people off period, lol.

Shaking my head.

Garbage in garbage out. Sample was tainted so how can you expect the results to be consistent and correct?

It's fans like you that are the reason ESPN and the source from MLB that leaked it should be sued. Forever tainting his legacy because of something that shouldn't have ever gone public.

He got off on a technicality, an error of protocol. Everyone knows it. There's a difference between not guilty and innocent.

because it's over the top, ridiculous, and class-less.

No argument with Rivera having class and being the greatest closer ever.

Personally, I think "most" Yankees fans are a little hurt because the Tigers beat them last season in the ALDS.

Way to prove you don't watch baseball.

2010: .270 avg, 30 HR, 125 RBI in 137 games, 123 wRC+
2011: .276 avg, 16 HR, 62 RBI in 99 games, 125 wRC+

As far as most hated, I'd have to go with Youkilis...whiny attitude, got destroyed by Rick Porcello, gay batting stance...or Valverde for his mound orgasms. Phucking phaggot.

I was off by a year. Yes, he was good in 2010. Even in 2010 he struggled with injuries. Last year's numbers are good for how many games he played? Injuries are taking a toll on him and his production will keep declining. My argument was about him being the most hated in the past, not about how bad a player he is.

It is classless. Joba used to piss me off when he was fist pumping after every out. Someone needs to tell them there are 162 games, save your "I just saved game 7 of the World Series" celebration for...IDK...... GAME 7 of the World Series. Even Goose Gossage came out and said it.
