Hey guys, I'm headin to cancun on April 29th. I altered my diet a month ago so I can lean out and have good muscle definition for the beach! I'm 5'9, and my usual weight is about 190-195. In my attempts to get cut up, as im only used to bulking, I decided to lower my carbs to almost zero a day (well, as close as you can get).

Anyways, I'm now in panic mode because I realize that this is probably a huge mistake! I've dropped to about 180 in the last month, and I am noticeably smaller in my chest, arms, everywhere! I've lost a ton of muscle! Now I'm pretty much a twig. How can I rectify this without losing a lot of definition? Was a super low carb diet a terrible idea?

Just eat three or four hundred grams of carbs today and you'll puff right back up. Seriously.

I've lost a ton of muscle!

You probably just lost water from the muscle tissue, not necessarily muscle tissue itself. Low carb diets have a tendency to make muscles look flat.

Good luck with living on a close to "Zero carb" diet for very long.

This. Refeed with a bunch of CHO. Will fill out your physique.
