For the last year and a half I have been slacking off. I haven't done anything but light lifting and running. However, my eating far outstripped my running. Here I am trying to make it back to beast on April 1, 2012. This journal will take me through July 31, 2012.

My current weight is 231 and my goal is 205. I am probably around 22% bodyfat.

Lifting Goals:
I would like to get my Incline Bench back to 225x5.
I would like to get my Squat to 275x20.

Cardio Goals:
Mile in under 7 minutes.
2 Miles in under 15 minutes.

Eating Goals:
I cant pretend like I dont ever drink. Being at the end of my college career I am sure I will be obliged to drink occasionally but I will try to keep it to a minimum.

My calories will be between 2000-2500 each day. I will hopefully be eclipsing 125 grams of protein each day. I will be eating whatever gets me to there and keeps me within my caloric goals.

Hopefully this is a good ride.

Had a pretty clean day. I woke up with some water weight lost and registered at 227.

I ate decently and stayed under calories but missed my protein goal.

I did legs today:

Back Squat 155x6x8
Single Leg Dead Lifts 20 lb dbsx3x5 each leg
Step ups 40'sx3x5 each leg

Light day that hurt pretty good. Just getting back into the swing of things.

After that I got on the bike for 25 minutes and toughed it through 7.5 miles.

Im going to "bike" to Jupiter, Florida. I will strive to do all the miles that it would take to go from St. Louis to Jupiter, which is 1140, by July 31st.
I will keep a running total of this throughout my log.

Woke up around 226. Feel pretty dry already.

Nutrition today is going pretty well. I should hit my protein goal and stay under my calorie goal.

I did 14.5 miles on the bike after my lifting session. That puts my quest at 22/1140 miles - with 119 days remaining. This means ill have to average about 9.4 miles per day. However, I don't want (nor will I be able) to bike everyday so I will be having some pretty cardio intensive days to complete my goal.

Did a push workout today.

Workout went as follows:

Incline DB Bench: 6x8 at 45,45,45,55,45,45
Flat DB Bench: 4x8 at 45,45,45,45

Front Raises: 4x10x10's
Side Raises 3x10x15's

Single Arm French Press 2x8x25's
Tricep Complex 2x30x20's

Same weight as yesterday.

Just over calories today with a solid amount of protein. Not too worried about the overage.

I did 16.3 miles on the bike during my workout. This puts me at 38.3/1140 miles with 118 days remaining.

Did a light pull workout today.

Bent over Row 6x6x135
Lat Pulldowns 3x8x120
Reverse Flyes 2x8x40's

Single Arm DB curls 3x8x30's
Hammer Curls 2x8x40's
